POST THANKSGIVING REPORTS

GCH CH Lobato's JitterBug Man

We’ve emptied the house of family & friends, put the wife on a plane to California to visit the new grandbaby, and now we can turn our attention to show results.  First up are some recent National Specialty results.  From Litchfield Park AZ, we have the results of the Great Dane Club of America’s National Specialty from last week.  Linda Ridder’s BISS was the Number One Great Dane, all systems, GCH CH Lobato's Jitterbug Man.  Other awards included CH Rojon’s Say Yes as Best of Opposite Sex, Highlander PCH It's Not My Fault At Lecheval, who was Winners Dog & Best of winners, and the Winners Bitch, Four Ds Rainmaster Explosion.

BISS James has been quite successful in all breed competition collecting seven BIS this year.  Congratulations to breeders/owners MaryEllen Thomas & Joy P Lobato, co-owner Glenda Cole, and handler Marie Sommershoe.

CH Adamant Rock Monster

The Bulldog Club of America drew 343 Bulldogs to Vienna VA this week to compete for their Best of Breed this year.  The top prize went to CH Adamant Rock Monster.  Dr John Gann also liked GCH CH Empire’s Empress Isabella as Best of Oppostie Sex, B-Loved Nothing But Net, who pulled off the trifecta of Best in Sweepstakes, Winners Dog, & Best of Winners, and Er-Ne'S Dooley Woods Daydream Believer of Shaver as his Winners Bitch.

Schnitzel has had great record in specialty competition, recently winning the breed at the Bulldog Club of America Division III Specialty in Napa CA.  He would go on to take a Group Two the next day at the Wine Country Kennel Club all breed show, behind the eventual BIS winner.  We love it when the Standard Poodles get challenged by the Bulldogs in the Non-Sporting Group.  Congratulations to breeders/owners Jennifer & Jay Joseph..
