2011’s Number One Dog All Breeds has reached another milestone in his storied career.  The Black Cocker Spaniel, GCH CH Casablanca’s Thrilling Seduction, received his 107th BIS today at today’s Beckley West Virginia Kennel Club show in Lewisburg WV, breaking the breed record set in the mid 90s by the Black Cocker Spaniel, CH La Shay’s Bart Simpson.

Sharing David Bolus’ final ring with Beckham & handler Michael Pitts were the Otterhound, CH Corcragael Frazer Nash, the Siberian Husky, GCH CH Tovik s Pretty Fly For A White Guy, the Airedale Terrier, GCH CH Joval’s Angel Whisper, the Pekingese, GCH CH Oaklhill’s Two Times the Dragon, the Schipperke, GCH CH Aned’s Guillame, and the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, GCH CH Dalarno Nite Song at Morningstar.

We deemed Beckham a DOG2WATCH back on January 15, 2010 when at  just 21 months of age, he picked up BACK2BACK BIS over Top Twenty dogs on the always competitive Florida circuit.  Since then we have seen Beckham and handlers Linda & Michael Pitts post several memorable wins including consecutive wins at the 2010 & 2011 American Spaniel Club national specialties, consecutive wins at the American Spaniel Club Flushing Spaniel Show, 2010, 2011 and 2012, and Sporting Groups at the 2011 Westminster Kennel Club show & the 2011 AKC/Eukanuba National Championship.

Congratulations to breeder/owner Linda Moore, fellow owners Bruce Vandeman, Carolee Douglas, Mary Walker, & Cindy Cassidy, and handlers Michael & Linda Pitts.  Our thanks to them all for sharing with us “The Best Cocker Spaniel That Ever Was”.
