BACK2BACK BIS IN NEW YORK

CH Hill Country's Tag I'm It

One of the surprises this weekend was the 13 month old Pug, CH Hill Country's Tag I'm It, who burst on the scene with a BACK2BACK BIS performance.  It happened at the Wyoming Valley Kennel Club shows in Alexander NY.

On Saturday Tag & handler Barry Clothier were joined in Skip Stanbridge’s final by the English Setter, GCH CH Reidwood Artistic Vision, the American Foxhound, CH Kiarry's Eyes On The Prize At Caben, the Newfoundland, CH Rosewood's Royal Flush, the Skye Terrier, Faire Skyes Magical Piper, the French Bulldog, GCH CH Lionheart's Lulabelle At Amse, and the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, CH Let Alone Creek Knight Trucker.

Sunday Tag’s companion’s in Edd Bivin’s final were the Curly-Coated Retriever, GCH CH Down Da Trail Hunting Thrills CD, the Afghan Hound, GCH CH Xenos Jimlet, the aforementioned Newfie, the Smooth Fox Terrier, CH Absolutely Adorable, the Boston Terrier, Casinos As You Wish, and the Norwegian Buhund, GCH CH Randalyn Spring Jada RN BN.

Tag, called JJ by his intimates, has been quite the prodigy, finishing his championship at just seven months old.  We are going to enjoy watching this one grow.  Congratulations to Barry, breeders Kristy and Kevin Ratliff, and owner Carolyn Koch.

  1. KUDOS to this beautiful Pug!!! I am familiar with this dog, and he is one of the finest Pugs I have ever seen. The young lady that bred and showed this dog should be commended on a job well done! She always has beautful Pugs, and does an outstanding job in the ring. Congratulations to his new owners and handler! You picked a good one!

  2. Very exciting indeed!! "JJ" was breeder/owner handled to his quick championship at 7 months old in the Bred-By class! Saturday was his first time to step foot in the ring with Barry at the helm! I'm not sure if that is a record for a 13-month-old pup but Tag's team is in for a very sweet career with a start like this!
