GREATER NAPLES DOG CLUB

GCH CH Mt View’s Ripsnorter Silver Charm

Our current Number One Dog All Breeds, the German Wirehaired Pointer, GCH CH Mt View’s Ripsnorter Silver Charm, was in Arcadia FL for the Greater Naples Dog Club’s Thursday & Friday shows.

On Thursday Oakley was one of Sidney Marx’ seven finalists.  The others were the Afghan Hound, GCH CH Criston’s Enchanted, the Doberman Pinscher, GCH CH Cambria’s Mint Condition, the Skye Terrier, CH Of Skyeline Captain Hook, the Miniature Pinscher, GCH CH Marlex Classic Red Glare, the French Bulldog, GCH CH Bandog Bayou’s The Warrior, and the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, GCH CH Riverside Get Over It.

Oakley would finish day one with the Reserve ribbon while the Doberman, Vega, picked up her first BIS of the year.  Vega is a littermate of the multi-BIS winners GCH CH D’s Remember When and GCH CH Cambria’s It Must Be Fate.  Congratulations to breeders Dr Anthony & Sheila DiNardo & A R White, owners Betty Singh & Sonny Wang, and handler Daniel Sanchez.  We hope to have a photo for you soon.

GCH CH Criston’s Enchanted

Oakley & the above named Afghan, Skye, & Minpin, were back on Friday to see BIS judge Fred Ferris along with the Rottweiler, CH Ivoss Sonny's Angel, the Dalmatian, CH Spotted Bliss Oreo Delight, and the Australian Shepherd, CH Golden Gait's Only Rock N' Roll.  This time Oakley would take the top prize while the Afghan, Rachel, would take home the RBIS.  The win is the 54th this year for Oakley and handler Phil Booth.  We will wait until Monday to see if it’s good enough to hold onto the Number One spot.
