Susan Godek had the judge’s book for Saturday’s Raleigh Kennel Club final.  The seven dogs hoping to get a share the big rosette and the 1500 point pay day were the Irish setter, GCH CH Northwood’s First Reign, the American Foxhound, GCH CH Kiarry’s Pandora’s Box, the Giant Schnauzer, GCH CH Kenro’s Witching Hour, the Airedale Terrier, GCH CH Joval’s Angel’s Whisper, the Miniature Pinscher, GCH CH Marlex Classic Red Glare, the American Eskimo Dog, GCH CH Nuuktok's Atka Inukshuk, and the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, GCH CH Coventry Allure at Wyndstar.

She would go with the smallest and largest among them, making the MinPin, Classie, her Best and the Giant, Dora, her Reserve.   Classie is the US’ Number Two Dog All Breeds with 14 BIS this year.

In Sunday’s Fayetteville Kennel Club final Dr John Reeve-Newson would see five of Saturday’s finalists along with the Standard Poodle, GCH CH Dawin’s Hearts on Fire, and the German Shepherd Dog, GCH CH Wolf Creek Galaxy Of Merivern.  Saturday’s bridesmaid became Sunday’s bride as the Giant, Dora, took home the big rosette and all those points, while another lovely lady, the Foxhound, Jewel, left with the runner-up ribbon.  Dora is currently AKC’s Number One Giant Schnauzer and Number Six Working Dog with two BIS in six final appearances this year.
