Here in the US we had a full schedule of events with 28 all breed shows in ten locations.  In the Northeast fanciers gathered in Milton NY, 80 miles north of Manhattan, for three shows hosted by the Monticello New York Kennel Club & the Saw Mill River Kennel Club.  The MNYKC got things rolling on Friday and put Ronald Rella in the final ring.  The seven dogs who joined him were the English Cocker Spaniel, GCH CH Blackstone Very Vassar, the American Foxhound, GCH CH Kiarry’s Pandora’s Box, the Boxer, GCH CH Draco Greets Dassin With Fourbears, the Kerry Blue Terrier, GCH  CH Class Act of Hallsblu, the Toy Poodle, GCH CH Smash Jp Sakura, the Dalmatian, GCH CH Erin’s I’m Your Man, and the Bearded Collie, GCH CH Dunhill Celebration.

The dog collecting the points was the Boxer, Margarita.  The dog getting the Reserve and the photo op was the Foxhound, Jewel.  It’s Margarita’s second BIS of the year.

The MNYKC did it again on Saturday, putting Dr John Ioia in the final ring with the above named Foxhound, Boxer, Toy Poodle, & Beardie, the English Springer Spaniel, GCH CH Birchwood's Tropical Night Fever RA, the Lakeland Terrier, GCH CH Larkspur Acadia Save Me A Spot, and the French Bulldog, GCH CH Lefox Born To Boogie.

Scampering away with the big rosette was the Toy Poodle, Sakura, while Margarita collected the Reserve ribbon.    Sakura has been the Number One Toy Poodle in America for the last two seasons.  Saturday’s win was his third in ten final appearances this year.

The SMRKC took over on Sunday and wrapped the set with the now familiar English Cocker, Foxhound, Lakeland, Toy Poodle, & Beardie, the Doberman Pinscher, GCH CH Holly Woods Catwoman, and the French Bulldog, CH Rockydell Hotschott Sirius Dancer.  Barbara Pepper’s top two were the Foxhound, Jewel, and the Toy Poodle, Sakura.   Jewel has been the Number One Hound in AKC for the last two seasons and is currently the nation’s Number Two Dog All Breeds with 12 BIS in 20 attempts this year.  That’s the most BIS by any dog this year.
