FOUR IN LEWISTON IDAHO

GCH CH Mountain View National Acclaim

Before we turn to this week's shows, we still have some results to bring you from the last two weeks.  We are going to go to the other side of the Rockies to Lewiston ID where the Palouse Hills Dog Fanciers and the Lewis-Clark Kennel Club combined for four shows April 19-22.

GCH CH Tawny Mist Myan Mystic

The PHDF was up first and chose Stephen Hubbell to command the opening final.  His options were the German Wirehaired Pointer, GCH CH Mountain View National Acclaim, the Black & Tan Coonhound, GCH CH Windbourne HD Ranch King Of The Road, the Rottweiler, GCH CH Highwood's Call of The Wild, the Kerry Blue Terrier, CH Saredon Shockwave at Irisblu, the Silky Terrier, GCH CH Tawny Mist Myan Mystic, the Standard Poodle, GCH CH Brighton Lakeridge Encore, and the German Shepherd Dog, Windcrest Gun powder And Lead.

Collecting the top two awards were the GWP, Phelps, and the Silky, Copan. It’s the first all breed BIS for Phelps.  Congratulations to breeders Claire Wisch, Helen George-Witt, Kelly Wisch, & James Witt, owners Norma Paduch, Pete Paduch, & Betty Stroh, and handler Robert F Perry.

Our congratulations go out to breeder/owner Donna Renton, co-breeders  Kathy Bron & Tarianne Gallegos, owners,  Eileen & Steve Biles & Krystal Wilson, and handler Luke Baggenstos on Copan’s first BIS.

GCH CH Windbourne HD Ranch King Of The Road

The LCKC took over on Sunday and put Richard Lopaschuk in the final ring with the Brittany, CH Sanbar's Ride The Winds, the previously seen Coonhound, the Tibetan Mastiff, GCH CH Dreamcatcher Major Victory Of Loki, the Kerry Blue Terrier, CH Saredon Shockwave at Irisblu, the Brussels Griffon, GCH CH Hilltop's GQ Cover Boy, the Standard Poodle, Ally, and the Australian Shepherd, GCH CH Melody Hit The Jackpot CD RN PT.  Judge Lopaschuk chose the Coonhound, Roy, as his Best and the Poodle, Ally, as his Reserve.

Roy and Ally would be back for Monday’s BIS with Gloria Geringer.   Her remaining five dogs were the now familiar GWP, Phelps, the Doberman, Gunner, the Silky, Copan, the Australian Shepherd, Copan, and the Bedlington Terrier, CH Pine River's Show Me The Money.   Once again Roy would walk off with the big rosette, leaving the Silky with her second Reserve of the set.

The wins were the first of the year for Roy and the first BIS by a Black & Tan in the last two years.  Congratulations to breeders Meredith Langston & Francie Olson, owner Shelley Campbell, and owners/handlers Shea Skinner & Tiffany Skinner.
