MONDAY MORNING MOP UP

We begin our Monday Morning Mop Up in Biloxi MS, fondly known in these parts as the “Redneck Riviera”  (Our parents honeymooned there) where the Northlake Kennel Club Of Greater Covington and the Riverside West Kennel Club Of Greater New Orleans teamed for four shows this past week.

Doris Miller had the opener for the NKCGC and her pick of the Golden retriever, GCH CH Scion Another Won, the 15” Beagle, Dual Lanes The Sky's The Limit, the Rottweiler, GCH CH Ecko Ridge's Big Easy Fast And Furious, the Skye Terrier, CH Cragsmoor Good Time Charlie, the Miniature Pinscher, GCH CH Marlex Classic Red Glare, the Standard Poodle, GCH CH Dawin Hearts on Fire, and the German Shepherd Dog, GCH CH Karizma’s Ike of Edale,  Best went to the Skye, Charlie, Reserve to the Golden, Tally.  It’s Charlie’s third BIS this year and his third in a row.

Friday Charlie would return with the MinPin, Classie, & the Standard Poodle, Flame, to see judge Robert Merry.  Joining them would be the English Setter, GCH CH Lochlomonds Wrapped Up In You, the Longhaired Dachshund, Walmar-Solos OMG SL, the Boxer, GCH CH Ho-Pa’s Grand Slam, and the Rough Collie, GCH CH Windcrest Blown Away.  Judge Merry would like the MinPin, Classie, for BIS, and the Poodle, Flame for RBIS.  Classie is AKC’s Number One MinPin of all time with 83 career BIS, 28 of which have come this year.

Classie would would return on Saturday to see judge Cathy Daugherty along with the Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever, GCH CH Pikkinokkas Lightning Bug, the Whippet, GCH CH Karasar’s Remembrence, the previously seen Boxer, Mason, the Lakeland Terrier, GCH CH Hi-Kel Terrydale Fortune Forward, the French Bulldog, GCH CH Bandog's Major League Homerun At TX Star, and the aforementioned GSD, Ike.

She would choose the NSDTR, Flash, as her Best and the Frenchie, Mickey, as her Reserve.  It's the first BIS of the year for Flash and the only BIS by a Toller this year.  Congratulations to breeders

GCH CH Liberty’s Armed And Dangerous

William Daugherty would close it out on Sunday with the Black Cocker Spaniel, CH Tamras N Positivelys Over the Top, the now familiar Whippet, Britanee, the Cane Corso, GCH CH Liberty’s Armed And Dangerous, the same Lakeland, Dru, the MinPin, Classie, the Chinese Shar-Pei, GCH CH Jade East Do You Know The Way to San Jose, and the Rough Collie, GCH CH Clarion Nightline.

Judge Daugherty would like the Cane Corso, Josie, as his Best In Show, and the Collie, Rex, as his Reserve.  It was the first for Josie and the first ever for the breed.  Congratulations to breeder/owner Joe Hovorka, owner Renee Cuzzo, and handler Angel Daniel Rosa.

  3. The Frenchie went Reserve Sat, i believe the Toller was BIS, I think you should check the judge as well....
