LONG ISLAND DUO

GCH CH Joval Angel’s Whisper

We go out on the Island (Long Island NY) for our next report.  Saturday’s Suffolk County Kennel Club show featured judge Joe Lobb in the final ring with the Gordon Setter, GCH CH Sandpiper's Castles In The Air, the Whippet, CH Sportingfields Endless Sunset, Doberman Pinscher, CH A’Monde’s Marla The Prima Donna, the Airedale Terrier, GCH CH Joval Angel’s Whisper, the Miniature Pinscher, CH Kimro N Spivas Super Trooper, the Keeshond, GCH CH Nightwind’s Little Ricky, and the German Shepherd Dog, GCH CH Schreier’s Jetta CDX GN GO VER RE NAP NJP CGC.

Collecting her second consecutive BIS was the Airedale, Wispa, while the Doberman Pinscher, Marla, took home the RBIS.  That gives Wispa, AKC’s Number Nine Terrier, four BIS and 29 Terrier Groups to take into next week’s Montgomery County Kennel Club show.

GCH CH Starfield s Army Strong V Bulkley JH

The Long Island action Sunday was in Oyster Bay with the Westbury Kennel Association.  At the end of the day Wispa and the above named MinPin & Keeshond would join the German Shorthaired Pointer, GCH CH Starfield s Army Strong V Bulkley JH. American Foxhound, GCH CH Kiarry’s Back in the Saddle, the Doberman Pinscher, GCH CH Carry-On Merchant Man Of Ravenswood, and the Bearded Collie, CH Tolkien Mister Brownlocks in judge Carl Gomes’s final.

Judge Berg would like the GSP, Grant, for his Best and the Doberman, Sioux, for his Reserve.  It’s the first BIS of the year for Grant and handler Pam Bober.  Congratulations to Pam, breeders/owners Lynn Rhodes & Steve Herman, and owners T Duff & G Hostetter.

CH Tolkien Mister Brownlocks

This report was provided by Angela Stein, breeder/owner/handler of the aforementioned Beardie.  Baggins is the younger brother of the all-time winningest Bearded Collie, GCH CH Tolkien Raintree Mister Baggins, also bred by Angela.
