TWO MORE BIS FOR NUMBER ONE

GCH CH AfterAll Painting the Sky

Our Number One Dog All Breeds, the Wire Fox Terrier, GCH CH AfterAll Painting the Sky, spent the week in sunny Southern California where she took three of the four shows in Costa Mesa.  Check our archives on the right sidebar for Friday & Saturday’s results.  Sky would take both the Malibu Kennel Club’s big rosettes on Sunday and Friday.

On Sunday she was challenged in judge James Briley’s final by the Irish Setter, CH Jadestar Ride Em Cowboy, the Basenji, GCH CH Jasiri-Sukari Win Tin Tin, the Boxer, CH Irondale’s Look At Me Now, the Papillon, GCH CH Arsuma’s Brilliant Diamond, the Standard Poodle, GCH CH Del Zarzoso Salvame From Afterglow, and the RBIS, the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, GCH CH Coventry Crown Jewel.

CH Kulana’s Sh-Boom

On Monday judge Barbara Wood would name Sky her Best and the Chinese Crested, CH Kulana’s Sh-Boom, her Reserve while the Weimaraner, GCH CH Kulana’s Sh-Boom, the aforementioned Basenji & Boxer, the Miniature Poodle, CH Black Sky Jukka, and the Bouvier des Flandres, GCH CH Take Aim’s Playing For Gryffindor, watched.

The two wins brings Sky’s 2013 BIS total to 86 BIS, five behind the Portuguese Water Dog, Claircreek’s Impression de Matisse, who lead all dogs in BIS with 91.  Sky has already won the breed today at the huge Space Coast Kennel Club Of Palm Bay show in Orlando.  Check back with us in a few hours and we will tell you who walked away with the Best In Show.
