While fanciers were pursuing the big points in Portland OR, Southern California exhibitors were enjoying the good life in Ventura at yesterday’s Channel City Kennel Club show.  Judge Lowell Davis chose his top two from the English Springer Spaniel,  CH Foxboro N Shardust Authentic, the Bloodhound, GCH CH Quiet Creek’s Kiss and Tell, the Black Russian Terrier, GCH CH Aristes Paint It Black, the Scottish Terrier, CH Roundtown Everyday Magic Of Maryscot, the Maltese, GCH CH Scylla Small Kart Re-Lit, the Bichon Frise, Newtnine Crown of Queen, and the Shetland Sheepdog, GCH CH PaRay Preferential.

Finishing  one/two were the Bloodhound, Kissy, and the Springer, Maddox.  Kissy has been the nation’s Number One Bloodhound for the last four years, collecting 10 BIS and 41 Hound Groups in 2013.  Congratulations to breeders/owners Susan Lacroix and Heather Whitcomb  and handlers Tara & Bruce Schultz.
