Picking up the BIS was the Russell, Tribute.  Collecting the RBIS was the Golden, Rodeo.  It was the second BIS for Tribute and his first this year.  Tribute is one of only two Russell Terriers to have ever won an AKC BIS.   Congratulations to breeder Kazou Abe and owners Dr Allan Hargrave & Christina Areskough.

Tribute and Rodeo would return to the final ring on Sunday to try their luck with judge Andre Schoen.  They were joined by the 13” Beagle, GCH CH Vinla’s LA Ink, the Doberman Pinscher, CH Vondura’s Xcelerator Belle Amie, the Brussels Griffon, GCH CH Fist Face A Penny For Your Thought, the aforementioned Bichon, and the Australian Shepherd, GCH CH McMatt’s Autumn Breeze.

It was a good day for Rodeo, who grabbed the Best and the Griff, Penny, who scampered away with the Reserve.  It was the first BIS for the 23 month old dog.  Congratulations to breeder Julie Guay and owners Ken & Judy Schlechtand .
