SATURDAY & SUNDAY IN KALAMAZOO

When last we checked in on our Number One Dog, the Portuguese Water Dog, GCH CH Claircreek’s Impression de Matisse, he had finished the day at Friday’s Holland Michigan Kennel Club show in Kalamazoo MI with another BIS.

Matisse would repeat the win on at Saturday’s Grand Rapids Kennel Club show under judge Charles Olvis. Joining him in the final ring were the English Springer Spaniel, GCH CH Telltale American Ride, the 15” Beagle, GCH CH Tashtins Lookin For Trouble, the Skye Terrier, GCH CH Cragsmoor Good Time Charlie, the King Charles English Toy Spaniel, GCH CH LTO Prosperity, the RBIS, the Standard Poodle, GCH CH Dawin Hearts on Fire, and the Bearded Collie, GCH CH Daybar For Your Eyes Only. 

GCH CH Tashtins Lookin For Trouble 

Matisse would return to the final ring at Sunday’s Kalamazoo Kennel Club show along with the above named Beagle, Skye, & Poodle. Joining them were the Gordon Setter, CH Raggededge Joyride to Kericreek, the RBIS, Smooth Coat Chihuahua, GCH CH Sonnus Silho (Sanchez), and the Briard, Indiscreet Rose Tattoo de L’Heureux.

Judge Edna Gonzalez would name the Beagle, Miss P, and the Chihuahua, Sonnito, her BIS and RBIS. Miss P is one of the three dogs vying to top the Hound Group. This win is Sonnito’s fifth BIS in 27 final appearances this year. 

 Matisse ‘s 2014 record through Sunday is 49 BIS and 64 Working Groups.
