FOUR DAYS IN IOWA



GCH CH Inspiration’s Breath Of Heaven

We return to last week’s results with q report on the four shows in Amana IA hosted by the Tri-City Kennel Club and the Cedar Rapids Kennel Association.  The TCKC had the Friday/Saturday slots, ending day one with judge Janet Sinclair’s final.  Her seven options were the English Springer Spaniel, GCH CH Telltale American Ride, the Saluki, GCH CH Starlite’s Made Of The Best Stuff On Earth BN RN JC, the Boxer, GCH CH Inspiration’s Breath Of Heaven, the Miniature Schnauzer, GCH CH Lonestar’s Which Witch, the Pomeranian, GCH CH Char's Seattle Slew For Triple Crown, the Tibetan Spaniel, GCH CH Aki Shimas Uninvited Guest RN CGC, and the Old English Sheepdog, GCH CH Lambluv's Sultry Sensation.

Taking the BIS was the Boxer, Angel.  Accepting the RBIS was the Springer, Randy.  It was the first of the year for Angel.  Congratulations to breeder/owner, Gina Freer, owners William & Tina Trusdale & Mack & Joleena Young, and handler Christa Cook.

Saturday judge Carolyn Taylor would see the Golden Retriever, GCH CH Forever's All Jacked Up CGC, the Whippet, GCH CH Kamada's New York Minute, Angel, the Boxer, the Parson Russell Terrier, GCH CH Posey Canyon Classic Stun Gun, the above named Pom, the Standard Poodle, GCH CH Dawin Hearts on Fire, and the Belgian Malinois, GCH CH Isell's Ivano Aka Zenvo CA.

Best went to the smallest among them, the Pom, Huey, Reserve to the Standard Poodle, Flame.  We have several BIS Poms this year.  Huey has four to his credit.

The CRKA took over on Sunday and put judge Joan Goldstein in the final ring with the previously mentioned Springer, the Borzoi, GCH CH Chihawk Echovesna I Luv You, Angel, the Boxer, the same Parson Russell, the Pom, Huey, the Dalmatian, GCH CH  Centurion Anticipation Charming Dalfield, and the Cardigan Welsh Corgi, GCH CH Aubrey’s Tails of Mystery.

Finishing one/two were the Springer, Randy, and the Corgi, Libbie.  Randy is the Number One English Springer Spaniel, and the Number Five Sporting Dog with eight BIS this year.

Randy would be back on Monday to see BIS Judge James Ham along with the previously seen Saluki, Miniature Schnauzer, Pom, Standard Poodle, & Corgi.  The lone newcomer was the Boxer, GCH CH Happy Tails Kit Kat Saves The Day & Stealsaheart.  Taking home the last BIS was the Saluki, Snapple.  Adding an RBIS to his BIS was the Pom, Huey.  A late entry in the season, Snapple just picked up his first BIS two weeks ago.  This was his second.  We expect a few more before the year is over.
