We now have results from last weekend’s Burbank Kennel Club show in Valley Glen CA. Dr Robert Pritchard had the Saturday final and his pick of the Golden Retriever, GCH CH Sandpipers Let Freedom Ring, the Ibizan Hound, GCH CH Paradise Bette Davis Eyes, the Boxer, GCH CH Hijinx This Is How I Roll, the Miniature Schnauzer, GCH CH Allaruth Carmel Still Kidding V Sole Baye, the Pug, GCH CH Winsome-Nirvana-Blaque Triple Play, the Tibetan Terrier, GCH CH Starlight’s Lady In Waiting, and the Bearded Collie, GCH CH Wigglesworth Thriller.

His Best was the Ibizan Hound, Betty, and his Reserve was the Schnauzer, JJ.  It was the first BIS for Betty whose grandmother, the top winning Ibizan Hound of all time, CH Luxor’s Playmate Of The Year, won a BIS at the same show a decade ago.  Congratulations to breeders/owners Nick & Lisa Puskas & Wendy Anderson and handler Linda Mattson.

GCH CH Sandpipers Let Freedom Ring

On Sunday judge Margo Klingler would see the same Golden, Boxer, Pug, & Beardie, the Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen, GCH CH M&M’s Fear The Beard, the Cairn Terrier, GCH CH Hjohoo’s Save Hjour Love For Me, and the Xoloitzcuintli, GCH CH Mistli (Avalos).

She would name the Golden, Freedom, her Best and the Pug, Slugger, her Reserve.  It was the eighth BIS this year for Freedom and handler Tara Schultz.
