DAY TWO IN WHEATON IL

GCH CH Rolin’s No Reservations

In this penultimate weekend of the show season, virtually every corner of the US is offering opportunities to gather a few more points before year’s end. In addition to the Friday shows we reported from New England, we had shows yesterday in the Mid-West, Texas, and Southern California.

The Mid-West offering was the Starved Rock Kennel Club show in Wheaton IL, 30 miles west of Chicago. The seven dogs seeking BIS judge Dr Anthony DiNardo’s favor were the Golden Retriever, GCH CH Summits Back By Popular Demand, the 15” Beagle, GCH CH Tashtin’s Lookin for Trouble, the Doberman Pinscher, GCH CH Rolin’s No Reservations, the Dandie Dinmont, GCH CH King’s Mtn Angelina Ballerina, the Pomeranian, GCH CH Char's Seattle Slew For Triple Crown, the Standard Poodle, GCH CH Safari’s This Side Of Paradise, and the Shetland Sheepdog, GCH CH Grandgables The Frat Boy.

The Doberman breeder judge would choose the Doberman, Reno, as his BIS and the Golden, Brodie as his RBIS. It was the first BIS for Reno. Congratulations to breeders/owners Roland & Linda Hagmann and handler Karen Fox.
