SOUTH COUNTY KENNEL CLUB

GCH CH Blondheim’s Easy Matters

A family wedding weekend has kept us away from the keyboard for the past three days, but we are back with all of the weekend’s results. We start in Richmond RI where the South county Kennel Club was set up for two days. Judge Robert Ennis had the Saturday final and his pick of the ASCOB Cocker Spaniel, GCH CH Blondheim’s Easy Matters, the Pharaoh Hound, GCH CH Hallam’s Jake of Arolet, the Boxer, GCH CH Brisbane “N” Blue Mondays Diamonds Are Decadent, the Wire Fox Terrier, GCH CH Foxhaus Skyfall at Foxhollow, the Prince Charles English Toy Spaniel, GCH CH Sanchi Pleasant Surprise, the Chow Chow, GCH CH Chowlamar’s Rebelrun Mr Kidd, and the Bearded Collie, GCH CH Classical’s My Turn.

GCH CH Foxhaus Skyfall at Foxhollow

Taking day one’s BIS was the Cocker, Matt, while the Wire Fox, Shamus, picked up the RBIS. It was the first BIS this year for Matt and the only BIS by an ASCOB Cocker this year. Congratulations to breeders/owners Sherry J Blondheim & Barry Blondheim and handler Lisa Arnett.

GCH CH Chowlamar’s Rebelrun Mr Kidd

On Sunday BIS judge would see five of Saturday’s finalists and the Scottish Deerhound, GCH CH Hobarra’s I Dreamed A Dream, and the Staffordshire Bull Terrier, GCH CH Ciera Homebrewed Born Free. His Best was the Chow, Billy, and his Reserve the Cocker, Matt. It was the first BIS ever for Billy and owner/handler Sharon Raposo. Billy is one of only two Chows to win a BIS this year. Congratulations to Sharon, breeder/owner Roy Bailey, co-breeder Robert Banghart, and owner Tony Raposo.
